Sunmaxx PVT expands its network of specialist partners in Baden-Württemberg and Saarland for the scaling of PVT systems

Dresden, 12 December 2023 – Sunmaxx PVT, the leading developer and manufacturer of photovoltaic-thermal (PVT) modules, is expanding its network to include two more specialist partners. Together with the companies DS Innovative Heiztechnik and corona plus Holger Peter, projects with PVT technology will be realized in Baden-Württemberg, Saarland, and Rhineland-Palatinate. The new project partners are not only well-connected, but also have many years of experience in supporting private and commercial customers, property developers, project developers, and heating and plumbing companies. The highly efficient photovoltaic thermal modules from Sunmaxx reach a total efficiency of 80% and are ideal for use in combination with heat pumps.

DS Innovative Heiztechnik is an expert in the field of heat pump technology and has been supporting its customers for 30 years in the consultation, planning, and implementation of systems. The Stuttgart-based company’s comprehensive service portfolio makes it easier to get started with green energy. “PVT modules are more flexible and future-proof than normal PV modules, since they generate electricity and heat simultaneously. This solution can cover the entire energy requirements of buildings. With PVT, on one hand the required roof area is reduced, and at the same time the energy efficiency is drastically increased. We have many years of experience in this area and are looking forward to implementing further projects in Baden-Württemberg together with Sunmaxx PVT,” says Dirk Söndgerath, managing director of DS Innovative Heiztechnik.

Managing director Holder Peter of corona plus, a planning and sales office in Tholey (Saarland) is also pleased about the new partnership with Sunmaxx: “In view of the ongoing energy transition, the demand for energy-efficient and environmentally friendly heating systems is fortunately increasing. Many private households and property owners want a largely self-sufficient supply of electricity and heat. This can be realized with PVT. Through the collaboration with Sunmaxx PVT, our customers profit from this first-class product and our service.”

Sunmaxx PVT is already working with a growing number of installation and trade companies throughout Germany. A highly automated plant for PVT modules was completed in Ottendorf-Okrilla, near Dresden. This is the largest PVT production site worldwide, with a capacity of 50 megawatts or 120,000 modules per year. “For the realization of our planned and ongoing projects, we need strong partners like corona plus Holger Peter and DS Innovative Heiztechnik. The growth of our partner network is proof that the energy transition is being taken seriously at the local level. We are pleased about the many highly qualified companies that are actively implementing the transition on a regional basis,” says Franz Ziering, CSO of Sunmaxx PVT.

Sunmaxx produces PVT modules and actively supports its partners in the system design. The specialist partners then provide support, advice and implementation of PVT projects for industrial and end customers to ensure high-quality implementation of sustainable energy concepts.
