Local, Renewable Heat and Electricity Supply Instead of CO₂ Compensation on the Example of Europe’s Largest PVT Plant
The rising costs of fossil fuel heating come with major challenges not only for businesses, but also for municipal and public institutions. In contrast, renewable systems offer low operating costs in the long term and decades of planning security. The switch protects against energy price fluctuations and means a valuable investment in the future. Using the example of Europe’s largest PVT system, we demonstrate how:
- a system with photovoltaic-thermal hybrid modules is designed
- the complete heat supply for buildings can be implemented in a climate-neutral and largely self-sufficient way
- project costs can be significantly reduced

PVT and Green Roof – Heat, Power and Ecology United in One Smart System
Using roof space with maximum efficiency – urban areas in particular offer enormous untapped energy potential. With PVT, you can generate four times as much energy from your roof as with conventional PV – electricity and heat in one system. The clever TRIC F Green mounting system from Wagner Solar also opens up new possibilities for green roofs, even with challenging roof shapes or the presence of obstructions.
