How an Automotive Plant Shifts to Renewables Using PVT and Reduces Energy Expenses
How can a company successfully transition away from oil and gas in an economically viable manner? In this webinar, you will learn how automotive supplier MAHLE has completely decarbonized its plant in Vaihingen-Enz and consistently converted its heating and process heat supply to renewable energies. Our PVT hybrid modules play a central role in this process: By producing electricity and heat simultaneously, the plant uses its roof space four times more efficiently than with conventional photovoltaics. This efficiency gain significantly reduces the need for drilling meters and thus also significantly lowers project costs. The result is a completely renewable, price-stable energy system that creates long-term planning security and independence from volatile fossil fuel exchanges.
